At the moment I am changing my main research topic. I am moving from Bioreactors and tissue engineering to Persuasive Robotics.
Persuasive robotics is a different way to use robots, we will try to use robots, androids and high tech devices to do psychological therapy on children and adults.

My name is Daniele and I am a Phd student in Robotics and Biomedical Engineering at faculty of Engineering of University of Pisa.
I am member of the research group MCB Team, directed by Prof. A.Ahluwalia at Interdepartmental research center E. Piaggio.
My reasearch interst are Microfabrication techniques and development of bioreactor for tissue engineering applications, though I love robotics and electronics too!
So I found myself involved in the R2D2 team, and my Phd thesis is about microcontrolling a bioreactor for cell culture and develope a new colture 3D system.
At the moment i am moving to another project; I will work on a Persuasive Robotics platform for psychological therapy on childrens.
